Do you love to cook?
Come to the table! Every night for more than 34 years, our residents have been sustained by a wonderful dinner provided, cooked and served by generous volunteers like you. Food is a wonderful way to care for others, have fun, and bond with your family, friends, faith group or co-workers in service. This is a perfect opportunity for groups between 4-12 people. Dinner is served from 6:30-7:30pm and you are welcome to use our commercial kitchen or bring it in already prepared. Contact us at 404-622-0793,ext.106 for more information or to schedule your dinner service.
Were you a star student or a goofball?
Be an After School Helper. Our kids do well in school, and one of the biggest reasons why is the constant dose of help and encouragement they receive from our top-notch team of volunteers. You won’t find a more valuable way to spend your afternoon. Sharing knowledge and opportunity is quite possibly the most valuable gift you can give any child. You won’t regret it. Volunteers work with our elementary school kids every Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Call our Youth Coordinator, Nicole Peyton, at (404) 622-0793, ext.102.
Are you happy, fun, kid-lovin’ kind of person?
Come and play! Share your talents and fun ideas with our kids during Nic’s Activity Hour every Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 pm! Watch a movie, play games, help with homework or do an arts and crafts project. The possibilities are endless and they all start with you. (Because you’re fun and kids adore you!)
Please note that all volunteers working directly with children are subject to an interview process and background check clearance.

Adult Education classes are taught on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm to a small group of eager parents. To volunteer, fill out this inquiry form and you’ll hear from someone within seven days.
Who do you know?
Organize a large group project. In addition to our main opportunities, we can accommodate special groups or individuals wanting to lend us their passion. If your company, church, or civic group wants to experience a hands-on volunteer event, let us know. We can accommodate groups of up to 45 people to do manual labor, cleaning, and landscaping.
